Huni Bolliger is an award-winning illustrator, animator and filmmaker whose animation work has received numerous awards in Australia and screened at international film festivals. She loves creating distinctive visual worlds and experimenting with different techniques to bring stories to life. She is the illustrator of the award-winning picture book, Digger Digs Down, written by Johnna Bell.
Robbie Coburn
Robbie Coburn is an Australian poet and award-winning YA author. His debut YA verse novel, The Foal in the Wire (Hachette, 2025), has been shortlisted for numerous awards, including the Prime Minister’s Literary Award.

Robert Newton
Robert Newton is an award-winning Australian author of books for children and young adults. His novels include Runner, The Black Dog Gang and When We Were Two, which won the Prime Minister’s Literary Award for Young Adult Fiction. When he’s not writing, Robert works as a firefighter.
Blake Nuto
Blake Nuto is an author and illustrator living in lutruwita (Tasmania). A trained teacher, his work reflects a deep love of literature and an interest in philosophy and mindfulness. His books include When You’re a Boy, A Day That’s Ours and Child of Galaxies, and his work has been translated into multiple languages. His books have been recognised by the Ezra Jack Keats Award, Kate Greenaway Medal, CBCA Awards, and the Queensland and Tasmanian Literary Awards.
Kim Rackham
Kim Rackham is a Melbourne-based children’s author and former early childhood teacher. Her stories have appeared in The School Magazine and her debut junior fiction verse novel, Hannah Backwards, was published by Riveted Press in 2025. Kim was awarded a Varuna Residential Fellowship for 2026.
Felicity Volk
Felicity Volk is an award-winning Australian novelist and short-story writer whose adult novels include Lightning and Desire Lines. A former diplomat, she has lived and worked in Bangladesh, Laos and Nepal and is now based in Canberra.

Judy Watson
Judy Watson is an award-winning artist, writer and illustrator of picture books and junior fiction. She has illustrated more than 20 children’s books, including Goodnight, Mice!, written by Frances Watts, which won the Prime Minister’s Literary Award for Children’s Fiction.
